Prizes:

We have prizes for the first overall winner (female and male, for both the 5k and 10k), as well as for the first male and female master (40 years or older) for both the 5k and the 10k run. The overall winners will receive a trophy, a $25 gift certificate from Top Speed Running in La Verne and a Brooks RunningWarehouse.com running T-shirt. Winners in the masters category will recieve a RunningWarehouse.com sweater, socks and a Brooks RunningWarehouse.com running hat. Run your heart out!

Registration at race day, bibs, T-shirts, parking, prizes & ceremony:

Online registration ends Thursday January 5 at 11:59 PM. Registration at race day starts at 6:00 AM. Cash or cheque only; we cannot process credit or debit cards! Registration stands will be located within the Arlington Heights Sports Park, and can be found on the left side after entering the park on Cleveland Ave. Bibs, timing chips and T-shirts can be collected here as well. Bibs, chips and T-shirts are not sent by mail. Parking is possible within the park gates. Additional parking space is available just outside the park from Cleveland Ave. Parking is free. The fastest female and the fastest male on both the 5k and the 10k will receive a $25 gift certificate from Top Speed Running in La Verne. The ceremony (trophies, prizes and medals) will be at 9:00 AM for the 5k run and at 10:00 AM for the 10k run. The ceremonies will take place in the park, close to the registration stands.

Garcia Produce:

Garcia Produce is one of our gold sponsors. This small local citrus shop is located at the corner of Victoria Ave and Gibson St in Riverside (at the corner of Arlington Heights Sports Park!). They sell the juiciest oranges, but also avocados and other locally grown fruits and vegetables.

Route:
Garmin GPS verified 5k (3.1 miles) and 10k (6.2 miles) route with little elevation (~100 ft). Start and finish for both races located just outside Arlington Heights Sports Park on Cleveland Ave.

Trophies, medals, prize money & T-shirts: There will be a trophy for the overall male and female winners of the 5k and 10k race. First three finishers in every age group will receive a medal, saying Citrus Heritage Run, January 7, 2012, [run (5k or 10k)], [place], [category]. There is no prize money. All participants will receive a free Citrus Heritage Run T-shirt!

Shape up for race day!
Get ready for the run! Improve your endurance, stamina, speed and strength. Come out and join the Riverside Roadrunners on Sunday morings at 6:30 AM for longer distance runs or Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM for interval training, both at Arlington Heights Sports Park.
